POLICE are probing a Kenilworth burglary in which car keys were stolen and an Audi A3 driven away.
The raid, some time before 8.25pm on Wednesday (March 14), saw burglars break into a home in Convent Close and carry out an untidy search, including stealing jewellery from the loft, before taking the keys to the silver Audi.
The vehicle was then driven off and police are investigating whether reports of a silver car seen driving at high speed at 8.10pm on the same evening, weaving in and out of traffic on the A425 from Leamington towards Southam, could be linked to the burglary.
Officers are carrying out house-to-house enquiries and appealing for any witnesses to contact DS Tony Power on 01926 415000 ext 4133.
