LEAMINGTON manager Paul Holleran has strengthened his squad by snapping up strikers Dean Perrow from Chasetown and Lewis Powell from Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division rivals Chippenham Town.
The 28-year-old Perrow has proved a prolific marksman for Chasetown and has also played for Sutton Coldfield Town, Willenhall Town, AFC Telford and Rushall Olympic.
Holleran said: "Dean has scored goals in and around this level since he was 18 and has won the golden boot two or three times.
"He's come back well from an achillies injury and was top scorer in a team that got relegated last season, which tells you something and I'm sure he'll be a big plus for us."
Powell, 22, is the son of Wayne Powell, who had a three game spell as caretaker manager at the New Windmill Ground back in 2009/10.
He began his career at Bristol Rovers in the academy and has also spent spells at Mangotsfield United, Weston Super Mare and Clevedon Town.
Holleran said: "Lewis comes with a proven goal scoring record at this level. He's had a bit of bad luck with injuries here and there, but he is two footed, technically very good, is a clever, tidy player and I'm looking forward to seeing him perform in a Leamington shirt."
The majority of last season's squad have already re-signed as Brakes look to build on their strong finish last time out and hit the ground running with a promotion charge.
Holleran added:"Continuity is important and it is good that the lads who did well for us in our unbeaten 12 game run at the end of the season, all want to come back on board. I think it shows that they believe we are moving in the right direction."
Brakes have also announced more pre-season friendlies with Blue Square Bet Premier Division side Mansfield Town visiting the New Windmill Ground on Saturday July 14, while they visit Midland Alliance outfit Coventry Sphinx on Saturday, July 21 and play host to Southern League Premier Division champions Brackley Town on Saturday, July 28.
Brakes will also be facing a Leicester City XI on a date yet to be announced.
