A WOMAN was attacked outside Woodloes School in Warwick in the early hours of Saturday morning (August 18).

She was assaulted in Deansway at about 4am when a small dark red car stopped next to her and a man got out and punched her in the face.

She initially fell to the floor, but managed to run off and once at home called for ambulance paramedics who treated her for shock and facial injuries.

The attacker is described as a big build white male with blonde hair, wearing thick rimmed glasses, black tracksuit bottoms and a black hoody with gold writing on the front which read 'crosshatch'.

Police are checking CCTV footage and carrying out house to house enquiries in their search for witnesses.
