THE SEARCH is on for people who fancy getting involved in a scandal in Leamington’s Jephson Gardens this summer.

The Dr Jephson’s Players will be presenting a free open air play in the gardens in July – Sheridan’s 18th century satirical comedy The School for Scandal.

But the players still have a number of parts to cast and are looking for people keen to take to the stage.

Producer Trevor Humphreys said: “We hope to put on another successful show this time round but we are struggling to fill all the parts available.

“We’d love it if more local people who enjoy acting could come forward and join us. You don’t necessarily have to be very experienced. We have a tradition of never turning anyone away – we can always find a part for you.”
