SIDE by Side are Still Breaking the Rules! at Leamington’s Spa Centre on Monday and Tuesday (November 24 and 25).

The 26th annual show by its 60-strong cast of those with and without learning disabilities will include the usual mix of song, dance, drama, mime and comedy featuring music from Adele, Snow Patrol, Queen, The Beatles, Slade and the musicals A Chorus Line, Funny Girl and Oliver.

Artistic director Andy Bayliss said: “It is a privilege to be producing my third production for this unique company that is Side by Side. I am indebted to the many dedicated and willing volunteers who year on year keep us going and those who give generously to enable us to provide performing opportunities for those less fortunate than ourselves.”

Formed in 1987 by the late Sue Teers the company focuses on the abilities of its members rather than their disabilities – what they can do rather than what they can’t.

Tickets, priced £6 to £9.50, are available in advance from the box office on 01926 334418, or on the door.

The show starts at 7.30pm nightly, with a matinee on the Tuesday at 2.30pm.
