Leamington Editorial 12th Jun, 2014 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

THE ORCHESTRA that Fell to Earth – five original members of The Penguin Cafe Orchestra – are performing a charity concert in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer at Leamington’s Assembly Leamington on Saturday (June 21).

The concert is hosted by Dianne McDougall in celebration of her friendship of 53 years with Hilary Farnham who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer last year.

The concert will offer a rare opportunity to hear the music of the critically-acclaimed Penguin Café Orchestra performed by original members of the ensemble.

Just 45 per cent of women with ovarian cancer are likely to survive for five years, compared with 89 per cent of women with breast cancer.

The concert starts at 6.30pm. Tickets are £20 direct from Dianne McDougall – 07736 961659/email [email protected] – or £20 plus booking fee at www.seetickets.com/Tour/the-orchestra-that-fell-to-earth-charity-concert
