BURGLARS broke into five self service tills during an early morning raid on a Kenilworth supermarket.

Police were called to the Sainsbury’s on Warwick Road just after 2am today (Monday) after two men forced entry into the front of the store.

CCTV footage shows the men carrying crowbars and a holdall. It appears they were disturbed before making off on foot.

Both wearing caps and grey tracksuits, one is described as being tall and slight while the other is of a larger build.

Detective Sergeant Tim Carter said: “This is one of a number of incidents in Warwickshire where self service machines have been targeted.

“We are pursuing all lines of investigation and will be carrying out door to door inquiries in the area.”
