Car vandalism in Southam sparks police appeal

Leamington Editorial 15th Sep, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

THIS man could hold the key to more information about a vandalised car in Southam.

Officers believe two people approached the white Mercedes, which was parked on a driveway in Manders Croft, shortly before 1am on August 16.

It is understood one of the pair stood at the end of the drive while a man approached the car and poured the contents of a green can he was carrying over it.

Both then fled the scene on foot a few minutes later.

The following morning the car was found to have a green liquid on it and the paintwork had started to bubble up.

Police are keen to speak to the man pictured as it is thought he may have information that could help with the investigation.

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
