Exhibition by Severn Trent on sewer works for Kenilworth residents

Leamington Editorial 19th Jun, 2015 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

RESIDENTS are being invited to find out more about sewer works in Kenilworth.

Severn Trent Water will be holding an exhibition next Thursday (June 25) at Kenilworth Tennis and Squash Club from 2pm until 7pm where people can learn about the £300,000 works to replace the sewers in Coventry Road and Arborfields Close.

Improvements to the area’s sewer and water supply will help prevent future leaks and bursts, and also protect properties at risk of sewer flooding during heavy rainfall.

Severn Trent is also working with Warwickshire County Council’s flood risk and highway teams to make some surface water flooding improvements, which means a section of the A429 Coventry Road will be closed for ten weeks from July 13.
