Fourth Foodie Festival returns to Kenilworth

FOODIE fortnight is set to return to Kenilworth for the fourth time.

A host of food events, entertainment and promotions will be on offer at venues across the town from Friday (September 11) to September 26.

On Saturday (September 12), the event will launch with a ‘Food and Drink’ market in Talisman Square from 9am to 4pm featuring more than 20 stalls as well as live music and cookery demonstrations.

The film ‘Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs’ will be shown at The Kenilworth Centre on the same day while there will be a whisky tasting master-class at The Gallery on September 17. Hosted by Matt Swift, tasters can try six different single malt whiskies and will learn how to tell the difference between malts distilled in different regions.




The tasting starts at 7:30pm and booking is required – tickets cost £25 and anyone wishing to attend should call The Gallery on 01926 854585.

St Nicholas Hall will host the KT Tea Party – celebrating 125 years of Kenilworth Tea – on Saturday, September 19 from 3.30pm to 5pm.


There will be two ‘foodie’ quiz nights at The Old Bakery on and September 13 and 20 while The Almanack is set to have a British Tapas night on September 24.

To round off the fortnight there will be a Beer Festival at The Engine Inn with a range of real ales and ciders on offer from September 24 to 26.
