Fund-raiser Alice leads the way with charity walk for Guide Dogs

FOUR-LEGGED fund-raisers are being urged to follow the lead of Alice and Henry.

North Leamington School pupil Alice Bish has organised a sponsored dog walk at Newbold Comyn in Leamington to help raise funds for the Guide Dogs.

The 14-year-old volunteered with the charity as part of her Duke of Edinburgh Award and was inspired to rally support for the work they do.

The walk is open to all and takes place on Saturday April 9, starting at 4.30pm from the Newbold Comyn Arms, and even those not wanting to walk can come along and meet a Guide Dog and support the raffle.

Alice and the family dog, Henry the Jack Russell, are challenging people to raise £35 in sponsorship – enough to support a guide dog for a week.

Visit www.justgiving.com/Alice-Bish to sponsor Alice or www.guidedogs.org.uk/dogs-unite/find-events to join the walk.
