A LUNCHTIME skip-athon raised almost £1,000 at a Kenilworth chool.
Crackley Hall pupil Zara Simpson was inspired to help Scottish-based Mary’s Meals which provide meals for children at schools in third world countries.
She and friends Freya Dhillon, Laura Conmy, Chloe O’Carroll-Bailey, Jasmin Rose, India Plevin and Erika Zanyi organised the event.
More than 70 pupils took it in turn to hop, skip or jump as fast as they could for one minute and students from Princethorpe College even joined in the fun.
