HARD-working Guide Dog volunteers have been celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday in style.
Volunteers Denise, Jenny, Gemma and Sue of the Guide Dogs Shakespeare Puppies team were selected to attend a party in the ground of Windsor Castle after being invited by Waitrose, who are fund-raising to name their own puppy.
The volunteers enjoyed wine and cakes before watching a concert featuring Gary Barlow, Shirley Bassey, Alfie Boe, James Blunt, Beverley Knight and Jess Glynne, and stars of stage and screen including Helen Mirren, Damian Lewis, Imelda Staunton, Jim Carter, Jennifer Saunders, and Martin Clunes.
