RUGBY legend Lawrence Dallaglio pedalled his way through Leamington this week as part of his charity bike ride.
The former England captain and World Cup winner broke for lunch at Wolseley UK’s head office on Monday (June 23) where he posed for photographs and took part in a Q&A session.
Accompanied by 60 other riders, Dallaglio was heading south to Bicester on day 18 of his challenge having already travelled thousands of miles across Europe, taking in the climbs and passes of the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia.
The aim of the 26-day challenge is to raise £1 million for the Dallaglio foundation, set up in 2011 to help young people get a positive start in life by emphasising values associated with team sports.
