LEAMINGTON Carnival is inviting entries for this year’s procession.
The carnival team say they have now managed to secure enough financial backing for the event on Saturday July 9. The hour long procession will feature both floats and walking entries.
Carnival chairman Jamie Walker said: “We are now in a financially stable situation and we are now happy to accept applications, thanks to our sponsors, Leamington Town Council, Warwick KIA, SASCO and Warwick Printing.
“We’d encourage schools, charity, community groups and businesses of Leamington and surrounding areas to get involved in the procession. We’d like as many people as possible to enter this years event.
“We hope people will enter in to the procession to support the carnival and make it one of the best.”
The deadline for float applications is March 31.
There are also opportunities for food and other stalls at the carnival.
