Man arrested on suspicion of criminal damage

A 44-YEAR-OLD man from Stratford has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage.

A man was in the Pump Room Gardens in Leamington around 4.45pm on Monday (May 9) when another man approached him and damaged his mobile phone.

He left in a Citroen estate car, which was believed to be heading in the direction of Adelaide Road.

A man from Stratford has since been arrested but was bailed until June 8.




Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
