A MAN has been cautioned for religiously aggravated criminal damage following an incident at the Gurdwara Temple in Leamington.

The 28 year-old from Coventry was cautioned while a 39 year-old man from Birmingham was rebailed until the end of November as investigations continue.

No further action will be taken against a 31 year-old man from Oldbury.

Police were called to the Sikh temple on Tachbrook Park Drive next to Leamington Shopping Park on the morning of September 11 following reports up to 30 men had burst in – some reportedly armed with swords – apparently unhappy at a mixed marriage which was set to take place.

Warwickshire Police recently said 50 of the 55 people arrested would have no further action taken against them.

Their investigation into the incident is still on going.
