Man left with fractured jaw after assault in Leamington

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Leamington on Sunday August 7.

The man in his 30s was walking along the canal tow path between south Leamington and St Mary’s Road when he was assaulted by a man.

The incident is believed to have happened between 5.30pm and 10.30pm.

The victim tried to walk home from the scene but was later found on Ramsey Street with a fractured jaw and facial injuries.




Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have information.
