A MASSIVE fire ripped through a Southam industrial unit on Tuesday evening (November 18).
Firefighters were called to the blaze on Westfield Road at around 7pm. At one stage ten crews from across the county were at the premises of RepairTech on the town’s Kineton Industrial Estate.
Witnesses reported flames pouring from the first floor and firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus, using hoses, and also an aerial platform to tackle the blaze from above.
Crews continued to fight the fire throughout the night and come daybreak had it under control. Two crews remained at the scene damping down before an investigation into the cause of the fire got underway.
RepairTech’s website states the company specialises in IT repair.
