Mother and daughter assaulted in Leamington supermarket car park

A MUM and daughter were attacked in the car park of a Leamington supermarket.

A 48-year-old woman physically assaulted a 43-year-old woman and her 15-year-old daughter was also injured as she attempted to break up the fight in Asda car park on Chesterton Drive around 3.30pm on Sunday (May 31).

The attacker is believed to be known to the pair.

A 48-year-old woman from Leamington has been arrested on suspicion of occasioning actual bodily harm and inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.




She has been bailed until Friday, June 19 pending further inquiries.

Anyone who witnessed the assault is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
