A WASHOUT weekend was not on the cards at this year’s Warwick Regatta.
Hundreds of rowing enthusiasts and spectators descended on the banks of the River Avon on Saturday (August 16) to enjoy the annual event hosted by Warwick Boat Club.
The 500m spring course through St Nicholas Park and Myton Fields is always a welcome addition to the boating calendar with Warwick Castle as its backdrop.
Cake stalls, a BBQ and entertainment made sure the day was a success for all the family, with some even taking picnics and chairs to make the most of the afternoon.
