Police launch assault investigation after man suffers head injuries in Lillington

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 51-year-old man received head injuries following an attack in Lillington.

Officers launched an assault investigation after the incident, which happened outside Tesco Express on Crown Way around 8.20pm on Saturday evening (June 27)

Two 16-year-old boys – one from Leamington and the other from Rugby – and a 20-year-old man from Leamington were all arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. They have all been bailed until the end of July while the investigation continues.

The injured man, from Leamington, is in a stable condition in hospital.
