POLICE have launched an investigation following an allegation of electoral fraud relating to the 2015 general election in the Warwickshire.
A spokesman for Warwickshire Police said: “We intend to apply for an extension on the time limit to investigate and continue to liaise closely with the National Police Chiefs’ Council and the Electoral Commission.
“As this investigation is in its early stages no further information can be given at this time but we will endeavour to provide an update at the earliest opportunity.”
