POLICE are searching for a man who is believed to have fallen into the River Leam over the weekend.
The man was seen falling from York Road footbridge around 9.20pm on Saturday (November 15).
An immediate search and rescue operation was launched involving the police and fire service but unfortunately, he could not be located.
The search continued on Sunday morning (November 16) with assistance from specialist officers but no-one has been found so far.
