RYTON Pools Country Park celebrated its 20th anniversary with a special party.
The free event included its first ‘BioBlitz’ aimed at recording the increasingly diverse range of wildlife living in the country park.
Visitors teamed up with experts to learn more about the local flora and fauna, watched chainsaw carving demonstrations by Warwickshire County Country Park’s own James Taylor, took part in ‘bushcraft’ demonstrations from company Woodland Ways, and youngsters got to enjoy a party ‘fun-zone’ complete with bouncy castles, slides, outdoor games, entertainers, face painting, falconry and more.
