Leamington Editorial 18th Jun, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

A WHEELY big world record was made at Warwick Castle.

Around 1,000 pupils and teachers from Coten End, Westgate and Newburgh primary schools, and Briar Hill infants, gathered to create the largest image of a bicycle in the castle grounds.

The record attempt was organised by Warwickshire County Council ahead of the second stage of the Aviva Women’s tour traveling through the county on June 16.

The current record stands at 794 people and was set by the people of Silloth-on-Solway in Cumbria during the Tour of Britain in September last year.
