ALL things France were on the curriculum as primary and secondary schools came together to celebrate the 50th anniversary of French Studies at the University of Warwick.

Pupils from St Lawrence Primary in Southam and Trinity and Aylesford in Leamington and Warwick were asked to research the last five decades of events in both France and the francophone world before choosing one that particularly spoke to them.

And on Wednesday (July 8) they presented their findings as part of a special day of activities on campus.

Staff and current students were treated to a host of creations including an original film starring pupils, art installations, newspaper articles, multi-media presentations and interactive quizzes.

Pupils also got the chance to try their hand at being students by attending a mini-lecture and participating in small workshops on the French comic strip tradition, French film, sport and literature.
