Unlikely lookalike dogs need new home

Leamington Editorial 18th Mar, 2015 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

A PAIR of unlikely lookalike dogs are in need of a new home in a town that isn’t far far away.

Staff at Dogs Trust Kenilworth are searching for a home for the dogs whose names are inspired by Star Wars characters but who are less than convincing dopplegangers.

Bosses at the Trust are hoping to rehome Staffie Lou Lou, aka Jabba the Hutt, and best friend Terrior Cross Toodles, aka Chewbacca, together.

Helen Barlow of Dogs Trust Kenilworth said: “When Lou Lou and Toodles arrived at the rehoming centre, the first thing we realised is how much they love each other, the second thing we noticed is how much Lou Lou looks like Jabba the Hutt.

“We have nicknamed her ‘Jabba the Mutt’. Her best friend also looks out of this world, we think he looks like the loveable Star Wars character, Chewbacca.

“Lou Lou and Toodles are fantastic dogs and would make a great addition to a loving home.”

Bosses are looking for an active home for the two and say a home with older children, space and a secure garden would be ideal.

Call the rehoming centre on 0300 303 0292 for more information.
