AN INTERNATIONALLY-renowned conductor and composer gave a choral masterclass to girls in Warwick.
Warwick Preparatory School Senior Choir and King’s High School Junior Chamber Choir and Junior Choir had the privilege to work with Bob Chilcott.
The 120-strong choir were put through their paces learning Mr Chilcott’s own composition, the Jazz Songs of Innocence, before giving a performance to parents and friends in the Bridge House Theatre at Warwick School.
Mr Chilcott said: “The girls were so focused and so lovely. They also belied their age with what they achieved and I have to say that I was really moved by the way they sang the piece.”
