Warwickshire children are behaving themselves

Leamington Editorial 10th Jan, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

CHILDREN in Warwickshire have been staying on the right side of the law.

Arrests of under 17s by Warwickshire Police have fallen by 60 per cent in the last four years.

Research by the Howard League for Penal Reform – a charity working to reduce the number of people in prison – found the number of arrests of those under 17 dropped from 1,419 in 2010 to 563 in 2014.

The figures echoed those across the country with every force in England and Wakes making fewer arrests in recent years.
