Footballers wanted for new team in Warwick

A WARWICK team is looking for new players to join ahead of the new season.

Recently-formed Warwick Juniors Rovers under 9s squad is on the hunt for players who are currently in year 3 at school and will be going into year 4 in September this year.

The team train at Newburgh School every Wednesday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm and anyone is welcome to come along.

Norton Lindsey are holding juniors trials for next season over the summer.

The popular Leamington-based club are inviting young players to attend sessions at the Kingsley Playing Fields on Sandy Lane (CV32 6RD) on Tuesday (June 7). The trials run from 6-7.30pm.


The club are looking to recruit players for the under-eight, under-nine, under-ten, under-11, under-12 and under-14 teams.

Norton Lindsey was founded back in 1969 and traditionally where the colours yellow and blue.
