THE PAIRING OF Rob Mason and Rich Betteridge triumphed in the Warwick Golf Adrian Coller Cup competition.
Named after one of Warwick Golf Club’s beloved long term former members, the Coller Cup was played last week and pairs are drawn on the day.
Mason and Betteridge hit a winning score of 56 and were closely followed by captain Ian Carden and Pete Hall who carded a net 57.7.
In other Warwick club news, the first round of the Club Championship was played last weekend.
This is a gross score two round competition played over two weekends to determine the best player at Warwick Golf Club.
It is a tightly contested race so far with Dan Buckingham leading with 77 and he is closely followed by Ian Scandrett, Ron Jeffries and Lee Webb on 78, 79 and 80 respectively.
The final round of the competition takes place this weekend.
