MICK ROSSBOROUGH finished the season with a flourish to record a convincing victory in the October Medal at Kenilworth Golf Club on Saturday.

The ever consistent Rossborough enjoyed no fewer than five birdies on his way to carding an impressive one-under par 70, nett 64, which put him three shots clear at the top of Division A from runner-up Mark Newbold 76, nett 69, and also earned the best gross prize

Countback was required to determine the minor placings with Tom Murray 80, nett 70, claiming third place by virtue of a better back nine than Simon Hegan 78, nett 70, Geoff Owen 77, nett 70, and Steve Taylor 78, nett 70.

The Division B winner was Glenn Coleman 77, nett 66, from Mark Thorne 84, nett 69, Paul Stanley 82, nett 69, Denis Blasdale 81, nett 70, and Trevor Lindsey 82, nett 70.




Lee Byford 84, nett 68, took the Division C honours from Andy Harris 93, nett 71, Ian Griffiths 93, nett 71, Chris Kaye 93, nett 72, and David Sheepy 91, nett 72.
