BRAKES boss Paul Holleran has added more attacking options to his squad with the capture of midfielder Darrern Pond.
The 29-year-old put pen-to-paper on a deal to move to Leamington as Holleran continues to prepare his squad for the forthcoming Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division campaign.
Pond spent seven years at National League South side Oxford City after starting his career at Banbury United and made over 300 appearances for Oxford, guiding them to two promotions as skipper along the way.
The attacking midfielder impressed Holleran during his recent performances against Racing Club Warwick and Birmingham City.
“We have been on the lookout for another experienced head to help bring balance to the team,” said Holleran.
“Darren has all the attributes required and chipped in with his fair share of goals while at Oxford, so will provide another outlet as we look to boost our goals scored column this season.”
