WARWICK Juniors’ Under-11s side are on the lookout for new players for the up-coming 2015/16 season.

Players of all abilities in Year 5 at school are invited to attend training sessions at Newburgh Primary School on Tuesday nights between 6-7.30pm.

The team are moving up to a nine-a-side level and will be playing on a Sunday in the Mid-Warwickshire League Division One.

“We already have a very strong team here at Warwick but we’re always on the lookout for new players to join,” said coach David Lafferty.

“We’re well known it this level for our technical ability. Even though the players are still at a young age we like to teach them to play with the ball on the ground. We also teach fair play too.

“We also like to move players around so that they can get a taste of different positions – players are not just focussed on one position.”

If your child is currently in year 5 and would be interested in joining the new nine-a-side team contact David Lafferty on 07970 218276 for more information.
