Leamington Editorial 2nd Apr, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

WITH the 2016 season looming four Kenilworth players managed to blow off the cobwebs at the weekend after traveling to Northampton for a regional pre-season tournament.

The Charity One Ball Croquet tournament heats take place all over the country and this year the money raised will go to Myeloma UK.

Mike Hills took home advantage to win the tournament but Kenilworth member Philip Wood finished second and qualified for the final to be held at Surbiton Croquet Club.

Kenilworth Croquet are holding two open days on April 24 and April 30 in a bid to find new members and to attract anyone interested in finding out about Croquet.

Both sessions take place between 1-5pm at Kenilworth Lawn Tennis, Squash and Croquet Club in Crackley Lane.
