Melanie Jennings capped off a fine year on the court after being named the Coventry and District League’s Player of the Year.
The Kenilworth player was nominated for the award by Chris Scott of Beechwood Tennis Club following a successful 2015 which has seen Melanie win the club singles and doubles championships on several occassions.
Chris said: “Melanie demonstrates effortless grace, proficiency and unfailing determination to win, while maintaining perfect sportsmanship throughout.”
Melanie was presented with the award at the Coventry and District Tennis League AGM on November 18.
