AN ECO hub and cycle workshops are just some of the projects made possible thanks to Leamington Town Council’s latest Climate Change Grants.
The council has allocated all of its funding up to the end of March 2026 to a host of local projects aimed at tackling climate change and promoting sustainability. In total, more than £27,000 has been awarded to community organisations across the town.
The Climate Change Grant is a relatively new initiative, launched last year, and has already gained strong interest from the community.
The next round of funding will open in April 2026 and will be available to not-for-profit community groups based in Leamington, supporting initiatives focused on but not limited to reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable practices.
Leamington mayor Coun Ruggy Singh, said, “It is fantastic that the town council’s Climate Change Grants have been so well received.
“With all funding now allocated, the grants can support projects that are making a real difference – such as the Leamington Eco Hub, which has secured a new space and has upcoming drop-in sessions to expand community involvement; the Cycle Infinity CIC, which offers workshops and skills courses encouraging more people to cycle; and ARC CIC’s forest school sessions that help children learn about woodland maintenance and climate stability.
“We look forward to welcoming new applications when funding reopens in April. It’s great to see local group making an impact that will benefit Leamington both now and in the future.”
