A TWO-day careers fair will showcase the wide range of job opportunities that exist in the district.
Warwick and Leamington MP Matt Western is co-hosting the event on February 26 and February 27 along with Warwickshire College Group and Leamington Jobcentre. It is taking place at the Warwickshire College Group site on Warwick New Road, Leamington.
Approximately 60 organisations will be present on both days, highlighting a range of employment, training and volunteering opportunities. Anyone looking for employment locally is encouraged to attend to talk directly with key employers.
The first day is aimed at adults not in full-time education – whether jobseekers or those looking for a career change. The second day will be attended by school, college and university students, who will have the opportunity to learn about the opportunities that await them after they leave full-time education.
Mr Western said: “I am always keen to promote some of the fantastic career options we have here in Warwick and Leamington for people at all stages in their careers. That is why I am delighted to be co-hosting this Jobs and Careers Fair with Warwickshire College Group and Leamington Jobcentre.
“I highly encourage anyone looking for employment locally, or simply interested in learning about all the opportunities available in our towns, to come along.”
