LEAMINGTON have appointed Racing Club Warwick boss Scott Easterlow as the club’s new manager ending a more than two-month process to identify Paul Holleran’s successor.

Easterlow swaps the Racers for the Brakes after guiding Warwick to two promotions and a Birmingham Senior Cup final in more than 300 games at the helm.

The Leamington-born manager replaces interim boss Chris Knott in the Your Co-op Community Stadium dugout after the latter took charge of the side following Holleran’s resignation on New Year’s Eve.

Easterlow said: “I’m delighted to be appointed as manager of Leamington.

“I’m looking forward to the challenge ahead, hopefully we are able to achieve lots of success together.”

Leamington have also confirmed the appointment of Callum Ingram as assistant manager and Gary Ingram as first team coach.

The club’s board of directors felt Leamington needed ‘a change in direction’ with the Brakes staring down the barrel of relegation in the National League North this season.

Leamington thanked outgoing interim boss Knott and coach Lewis Marston for taking over from Holleran in difficult circumstances.

Easterlow will take charge of the side for the first time against Darlington on Saturday, March 14 having stepped up two levels in taking the job at the Your Co-op Community Stadium.

The Brakes currently sit 13 points from safety at the bottom of the National League North table.

Easterlow leaves former club Warwick 11th in the Northern Premier League Midlands table.
