A FIRM of Leamington solicitors is celebrating raising a grand total of £28,000 to fund vital hospice care.
Blythe Liggins Solicitors has been taking part in The Myton Hospices’ annual Make a Will Week for 13 years, offering will writing services for free for a week in return for donations.
Since 2013, it has written more than 200 wills for individuals or couples as part of the annual Make a Will Week in return for £28,000 in donations.
The firm also supports the hospice by sponsoring the annual Two Castles Run, which this year had more than 70 runners taking part in aid of the hospices.
Donna Bothamley, partner and head of wills and probate at Blythe Liggins, said: “We’re pleased to play our part in supporting The Myton Hospices and are proud to have taken part in Make A Will Week for the 13th year this year.
“Every donation we raise for The Myton Hospices supports its hard work to provide vital services and support for people living with a life-limiting illness, and their families, across Coventry and Warwickshire.
“Our team doesn’t plan to slow down now, and we look forward to continuing to fundraise for the hospices whenever we can.”
During this year’s Make a Will Week, which took place in March, the Blythe Liggins team wrote 18 wills for free – raising £2,015 for the charity.
