HERCULE Poirot is on the case in Agatha Christie’s Black Coffee at Kenilworth’s Talisman Theatre

Poirot (Andrew Bayliss) is invited by Sir Claude Armory (Nigel Sharp), a famous scientist, for a weekend at Sir Claude’s home Abbot’s Cleve.

A secret explosive formula goes missing and the Sir Claude is found poisoned. Whodunnit? Poirot sets about solving the case in his own inimitable fashion.

Director, Chris Ward, has directed two previous Christie productions, and has assembled an experienced cast with a welcome return of Mick Ives and Phil Highley to the theatre’s stage as Inspector Japp and Treadwell.

The production marks the 100th set by designer John Ellam.

The production runs from Monday September 8 to Saturday September 13 with performances beginning at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced £7 to £8.50, are available online at www.talismantheatre.co.uk or by calling the box-office on 01926 856548.
