A MAN and woman were rescued from a burning car after a serious crash near Warwick Gates.
Ambulance crews, firefighters and police were called to Harbury Lane around 11.30pm on Thursday July 30 where they found a car on fire and another on its side.
Medics pulled the pair from the blazing car, while another woman managed to get out on her own and uninjured.
The man suffered a broken leg, a suspected fractured pelvis as well as abdominal and chest injuries, while the woman suffered multiple lower limb fractures and also chest, abdominal and pelvic injuries and multiple lower limb fractures.
Firefighters spent around two hours at the scene cutting a man from the other car. He suffered multiple rib and lower limb fractures, together with serious chest and abdominal injuries.
All three were taken to hospital in Coventry.
