Warwickshire Premium Bonds winner scoops £1million

A PREMIUM Bond holder in Warwickshire is celebrating after scooping £1million.

The unnamed woman, who bought her winning bond just over a year ago, was one of the two millionaire winners selected by bond machine ERNIE in the latest draw. The other winner, also a woman, lives in East Sussex.

Another Warwickshire woman is £10,000 better off – but she does not know it. She has failed to claim her prize from a draw made back in 2005.

There were nearly 58 billion eligible numbers in the draw.

Other prizes range from £100,000 (five winners) down to £25 (2,182,017 winners). The odds of each individual bond number winning a prize are 26,000 to 1.
