AN ARMED robber made off with cash from a Warwick petrol station after threatening staff in an early morning attack.

The man is understood to have entered the BP garage around 3am on Monday (November 2) and placed twigs on the floor to prevent the automatic doors closing.

He forced staff to open the till by threatening them with a knife and was last seen walking up Coventry Road towards Warwick town centre.

Police have since released CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call them on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
