Myton head retiring from role

Leamington Editorial 29th Apr, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

MYTON School is bidding a fond farewell to headteacher Paul MacIntyre.

He is retiring after six years with the school and will be temporarily succeeded by deputy head Andy Perry who joined the school in 2011.

Governors at the school took the decision to appoint an interim head to allow them time to recruit someone to fill the role permanently. They will advertise for candidates from September.

Departing head Mr MacIntyre said: “My years at our wonderful school have been some of the most positive experiences in my 37-year working life. I will always remember fondly my colleagues and our parents, carers and students at Myton School.”
