WALKERS have put their best foot forward and raised more than £37,000 for Myton Hospice.
Around 700 people pulled on their walking boots to take part in the three, six or 12 mile walks, ending back at the hospice’s Warwick site.
Many of those taking part in the Walk for Myton event walked in memory of a loved one who was cared for at the hospice.
Event manager Sarah Stallard said: “We are thrilled with the response we have had for this year’s event. Not only did we have a record number of walkers and dogs but we also raised an incredible amount of money which will enable us to continue providing specialist care for our patients and their loved ones.
“It is always so touching to see so many people who want to do their bit to raise money for Myton and this year’s Walk for Myton was no different.”
