ON-SONG pupils at Newburgh School hit the high notes with their latest performance.
Children from the Warwick school’s choir and orchestra teamed up for the Midsummer Rotary Concert at St Mary’s Church.
Their repertoire included a Beatles medley and Mozart’s Ave Verum Corpus, which was specially arranged by the school’s choir leader.
Choir organiser and teaching assistant Sarah Franklin, said: “The standard from all schools involved was extremely high this year.
“It was a challenge, but one to which the children rose with their usual enthusiastic aplomb. Well done to everyone involved – we are very proud of you.”
All proceeds from the concert will go towards local charities and projects.
