THINKING caps went on to raise nearly £5,000 for charities and good causes.
Wright Hassall’s hotly contested charity quiz saw 43 teams made up of staff and contacts put their brains to the test in aid of the Leamington-based law firm’s charitable trust.
A team from Barker Brettell took home the Wright Hassall Shield, as the 14th annual quiz night made £4,748.
The proceeds will all go to the Wright Hassall Charitable Trust which supports charities and good causes in the local area or with which a member of staff at the firm has a close involvement in.
Sarah Perry, managing partner at Wright Hassall, said: “The popularity of the quiz grows year on year and our thanks go to everyone who took part, donated raffles prizes and gave generously on the night.
“Raising close to £5,000 was a fantastic effort and will go towards to really important causes the Wright Hassall Charitable Trust provides support to.”
* CASH poured at the Multiple Sclerosis Society’s recent coffee morning at Leamington Shopmobility – raising £170.
On the fourth Floor of the Royal Priors Car Park, the scheme offers wheelchairs and scooters to people who find walking difficult.
Thanks to the support of Leamington Town Council people can borrow one as often as they like for an annual fee of only £15.
