A MAN has suffered serious head injuries after an attack in Leamington.
The victim, who is in his late 20s, was walking alone on Leicester Street at around 3am on Saturday (February 4) when he was assaulted.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Det Sgt Ali Knight said: “We believe the victim had been travelling along the street on foot at approximately 3am when the attack happened.
“This left him with severe head injuries that he is now being treated for in hospital. Fortunately, these are not currently believed to be life threatening or life changing injuries.”
